In comparison with other types of Cold Fronts the precipitation is often less, but especially during summertime it is difficult to make generalisations.

In summer risk of embedded Cbs with thunderstorms and heavy rain

Temperature

Falls slowly after the passage of the front

Wind (incl. gusts)

Veering of the wind at the front passage
In summertime strong gusts possible

Other relevant information

Thunderstorms areless frequent than in classical Cold Fronts (= 1/3 of cases)
Risk of moderate to severe icing, turbulence and hail
Sometimes weak and decaying cloud bands: no significant weather
