The CF extending from France across the Netherlands into the N. Sea shows a split character with brighter (colder, higher) cloud at the leading edge (for instance, over the Netherlands) and lower cloud to the rear (for instance, N. France). However, an intensified cloud area may appear within the low cloud part, as can be seen over SE England.
