The example shows the cloud bulges produced by two waves at the rearward edge of a frontal cloud band extending from the Mediterranean to the North Sea. The wave over the Western Mediterranean is more developed and already exhibits some spiral structure. The wave over the North Sea produces a well developed cloud bulge.
