The cloud configuration accompanying the Warm Front Band (WFB) can be seen over the Atlantic extending from south of Iceland (approx 60N/20W) to Scotland and N. Ireland. In this example the cloud band has a rather ragged texture. There are, however, also examples with a very smooth texture. The Warm Front cloud band is usually much shorter than the connected Cold Front cloud band.
