| The following
information is provided to ensure the proper operation of
this Web site. Please read this entire document.
Screen Resolution:
Run your browser window at
full screen (i.e., hit the maximize button). Your screen
resolution should be set at a minimum of 800 x 600
pixels, 16-bit color. Running at 640 x 480 resolution is
not recommended. You will have to scroll pages more
frequently, and your need to scroll may not always be
obvious as information at the bottom and sides of the
page may not be visible. If you MUST run at 640 x 480
resolution, be sure to keep your toolbar turned off or
necessary navigation buttons will not be visible.
Size:
The information layout was designed to be viewed with a default font
of Arial 12 point in Netscape® Navigator, or "Medium" font
in Microsoft® Internet Explorer®. If you have another default
font selected, you should probably change it now or you may experience
text layout problems.
Use of Frames:
This site makes use of frames. You should refrain from using the Back
and Forward functions of your browser to navigate, as you will not usually
end up where you intended. In fact, the content of the individual frames
could eventually not match each other. To navigate between sections or
pages, use only the menu bar on the left side of the screen when you are
in the main body of the module.
Bookmarking Feature
There is a bookmarking feature available in this module. It allows you
to mark the current page and return to that page from elsewhere in the
module. You may have multiple bookmarks as long as each bookmark is given
a different name. If you wish to return to a page, click the Bookmark
this Page button on the menu bar and follow the instructions. NOTE: The
bookmarking feature will not work on the "Welcome" page of this
module. All other pages may be bookmarked.
Browser Updating:
It is strongly
suggested that you update your browser to the latest version currently available. This site makes use of dynamic HTML, frames, and Java applets that are supported in the latest browser versions as of 1/1/99. Using older browsers may cause some pages to display incorrectly and/or crash.
Cache settings:
It is strongly
suggested that you empty your cache and set the cache size to at least 10 MB or more. This will enable the graphics preload feature to run properly. In Netscape, use the EDIT menu and select Preferences, Advanced, Cache. In Internet Explorer, use the VIEW menu and select Internet Options, General, Temporary Internet Files, Settings.
Running Other Programs:
It is strongly suggested that you close all
other applications while you use this module. Browsers require a significant
amount of processor capacity, so the usability of the module will be compromised
if you keep other applications open.
