Twelve hours later, looking at the same area of moisture moving into the CWA, Spokane soundings at 00 and 12 Z (2 Feb) show that a rapid moisture increase and significant warming are taking place within the 800- to 600-mb layer. This lends further support to the development of an overrunning scenario where widespread light-to-moderate precipitation is favored.
