The Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit (AMSU)-B radiance temperature (K) dataset contains brightness temperatures converted from measured radiances for the five AMSU-B sounder channels and is used to derive quantitative products including atmospheric moisture soundings. Three sets of radiance temperature values are available -- the calibrated-only AMSU-B radiance temperatures, the calibrated and limb adjusted AMSU-B radiance temperatures, and the calibrated, limb-adjusted, and radiance bias adjusted AMSU-B radiance temperatures.
