The receipt of radiosonde reports is variable. Reports in highly populated regions can be distributed regionally within minutes of completion. A radiosonde will typically be in flight between 1 and 2 hours. The distribution of reports from less populated regions and remote ship locations can take anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours. Most reports will reach users within 24 hours of the observation time.
